Jonathan resides in Eugene, OR with his partner Kathryn, a classically trained cellist. He is currently the Gallery Director for the LaVerne Krause, Washburn, and Foyer gallery spaces for the School of Art and Design at the University of Oregon where he also teaches courses in Photography and Digital Art. Jonathan is a founding member of the art collective and artist-run gallery space Tropical Contemporary. He received an MFA from the University of Oregon in 2014 and a BA in Art with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee in 2009. Jonathan has exhibited work at Filter Photo in Chicago, the California Museum of Photography in LA, Oregon Contemporary in Portland, SOIL in Seattle, the Knoxville Museum of Art in Tennessee, Peep Space in New York, and Ditch Projects in Oregon among others.
